Botanical Gardens
The actual grounds were an Indian village 100 to 900 AD, a Danish Sugar Plantation 1733 to 1917 and a cattle ranch in the 1930's.  The National Register of Historic Places now recognizes it.  The original plantation buildings have been restored for nurseries and housing.  The exception is the Great Hall, which was designed and built specifically for use by the Botanical Gardens.  The grounds are ideal for a walking tour either guided or self guided. .  The Rain Forest and ruins of aqueducts, ovens, and historical buildings offer a perfect backdrop the beauty of the property.

Fort Frederik Museum              $130.00 per person
Fort Frederik was built in 1760 and named in honor of the reigning Danish monarch Frederik V.  The fort was built to fortify the Danes new acquisition of the island St. Croix, protect it's commercial shipping and encourage the settlement of Frederiksted.  Fort Frederik had other interesting and important roles in history.  The fort's cannons fired the first (although unofficial) salute to the new flag of the United States on October 25, 1776.  And on July 3, 1848 Governor-General Peter Von Scholten emancipated the slaves on the island.  The fort went on to house a number of government agencies over the years, including the fire and police stations and a jail.  The fort was renovated and restored to it's original design in 1976 and now offers a unique and functional location for daytime and evening events.

Entertainment 
The Virgin Islands are blessed with a variety of talented musicians and performers. Bands vary from jazz, rock calypso, and steel pan to classical guitar and harps. Performers such as, limbo dancers Mocho Jumbi (highly decorative dancers on stilts) fire eaters, glass walkers all can be arranged to enhance and special event or theme party. Astronomers are also available for skywatching.
