Airport & Island Transfers
For those groups arriving by air, flights arrive at Henry E. Rohlsen airport on the island of St. Croix. The airport is centrally located to most hotels and transfer time is usually no longer than 30 minutes to any destination.
Our meet and greet staff are available at the airport for welcoming groups and coordinating transfers. We use 12 and 14 passenger air-conditioned taxi vans for all transfers. We load to only 80% of capacity leaving lots of room for everyone. The drivers are meticulous, friendly and give groups a good first impression of the island.
The prices listed opposite are per person based on a four person minimum per van and include our meet and greet services, driver gratuities and porter fees for two bags per person. Additional bags have a small fee per bag.
Again, for groups involving more than 24 people arriving at the same time, we request that you use our separate luggage handling vehicles. This insures that operations are trouble free from the start. The prices for this are listed in the SPECIAL RATES & SERVICES section that follows.
Any sort of water transfer from the airport is not practical on St. Croix due to the airport location and lack of docking facilities at the various hotels.
Cruise Ship Arrivals
If you have a group arriving into St. Croix by cruise line, most of the ships dock in the town of Frederiksted, located on the western end of the island. Several of the smaller "mini" cruise ships can dock in downtown Christiansted. The driving distance between the two towns is approximately 45 minutes.
There are many interesting and fun things to do in St. Croix for people visiting just for the day. Many different events can be organized for groups. Groups are greeted pierside by CTS staff who will assist with all tours and special pre-arranged events. We work very closely with the different cruise lines to ensure that scheduling is compatible with critical arrival and departure times of the cruise line.
